Alta Vista
Alta Vista is another Whistler neighbourhood that is popular very popular simply because it is situated predominantly on the shores of Alta Lake. Only a small portion of the homes are actually right on the water and expect to pay greatly for one but many others have water views and there is even the condo complex, Alta Lake Resort is right on the water with it's own dock. Many of the older homes in this area are prime for renovations and some great buys can be found here.
A short drive down Lakeside Road brings you to one of Whistler's hidden gems. Lakeside Park is a really great little park perfect for summertime right on the water with a beach, docks, concession stand and canoe and sailboat rentals as well.
