Whistler Monday Morning Coffee

Good Morning!

Well, it seems that the market continues to heat up in Whistler as keen buyers have been taking notice of the strong buyer's market we have here. Active listings in Whistler continue to be at a near all-time high and to get noticed in this market sellers are being aggressive with their pricing in an attempt to move properties that may have been on sale for some time now.
  • One that could be a good fit for many is my recently reduced 2 bedroom slopeside corner unit at #146 Coast Hotel on Blackcomb (formerly The Marriott). This suite is now at $275,000 ( old price on data sheet available here) and that makes this Phase 2 restricted hotel condo the lowest priced 2 bedroom suite in all of Whistler - and it's ski-in/ski-out too!
  • Another that is shaping up to be one heck of a strong buy is #213 G4 at Horstman House at $75,000. This one bedroom quarter ownership is priced about as low as you're ever going to find them. This property is located at Blackcomb Benchlands with a ski-in trail to the back door.
  • Finally, don't forget about the foreclosure at 7107 Nesters Road. This home is listed at the blowout price of $1,349,000 and the location can't be beat as it's within easy walking distance of Whistler Village, Myrtle Phillip Elementary and Nesters Market. Unheard of value in today's market.
The current listing inventory in Whistler and Pemberton now sits at 1211 active listings.
