Whistler Rain
Well, we're officially into the fall season here in Whistler. We just finished off our "The View from Here" day this past weekend where we gathered all of our clients together to meet and discuss the current state of the Whistler real estate market. It was a great session with the general consensus being that the market here is very much on the upswing with sales volumes increasing back to the normal range for Whistler which is around 550 transactions a year. In 2009 to date we've already had 336 sales and offers are flying right now so we should make up quite a bit of ground between now and the end of the year.
It's also been snowing quite a bit at the top of the mountain already and today is no exception. Heavy rain in the valley and driving snow up at the top of both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. It's a bit early to tell but we have our fingers crossed it's going to be a great snow year for the 2010 Winter Olympics!
