Floatplane Access to Whistler
While I was down at the Spit where Fitzsimmons Creek flows into Green Lake, I noticed a single engine otter that flew in with a group of passengers from Vancouver. One of the really interesting things about Whistler is that you can fly a floatplane right into town by means of Harbour Air and several other carriers right out of Coal Harbour down in Vancouver. The flight is very quick; roughly taking only about 45 minutes and it's a really awesome way to get to Whistler. You fly right into Nicholas North, hop off the plane and you're at the Village in seconds. Definitely one of the most unique and exclusive ways to get into Whistler!
