Whistler Monday Morning Coffee

I wanted to bring to your attention a video blog I put together last year that really describes the reality of owing a Phase 2 hotel condo in Whistler. There are so many incredible buys out there right now with the Phase 2 properties that I thought it would be only fair to bring back this video. Check it out here.
 
So, I'm going to get right to it this week.
  • We sold #208 Pan Pacific Mountainside Lodge last week at the price of $216,500. Now keep in mind that this suite had NET revenues after ALL expenses (not including a mortgage) of $10,000. This is unheard of revenue in Whistler and was an incredible buy. Now there is another indentical studio suite just above that one and it's #310 which is listed at the same price of $229,000. Because this one is on a higher floor it's revenue share is slightly higher so if you're interested please let me know soon. We already have a few buyers buzzing around this one.
  • Now, a really fantastic listing that I viewed while on our weekly realtor tour last week was #13 Taluswood for $699,000. This 2 bedroom townhome is located at prestigious Taluswood high up in Nordic Estates and features an all on one level floorplan and many upgrades including a renovated kitchen and a built-in desk and cabinetry in the 2nd bedroom so it can double as an office. It's a short walk to the ski slope above Whistler Creekside and this complex has it's own heated outdoor pool!
  • Just a heads-up to all of you that I am bringing a 1 bedroom Coast Hotel suite on the market next week for $189,000. It is located on the cul-de-sac side of the complex with perfect views to the west. Stay tuned for more details.
The current listing inventory in Whistler and Pemberton still sits at 1032 active listings which is up by only 2 from last week.
