Good Morning!
I think we'll make it quick again today
as it's shaping up to be another busy week for our team here in
Whistler. Buyer activity is really going into overdrive for us lately
and we're working on putting a number of deals together for our clients
as well as working on six new listings this week.
Notable New Listings in the Past 7 Days:
- Just wanted to give you all a heads-up that we're bringing two Phase 2 restricted king suites (studios) on the market tomorrow at The Four Seasons Hotel at the $199,000 price level each. This is really fantastic value for these sumptuous units that sit just above the spa in the West Tower of the hotel. Call me for more details on this aggressively priced opportunity to own in Whistler's #1 hotel.
- We just listed #16 Valhalla which is a 2 bedroom/2.5 bath, 1,250 sq. ft. townhome in Village North just across the street from Marketplace. These are really sought after townhomes because of their size and also because there is a huge storeroom right off the mudroom in the entry. Size and storage all rolled into one! - Another heads-up on a new listing we'll have on the market tomorrow. We're bringing on a 2 bedroom/3 bath 1,790 sq. ft. suite at the Four Seasons Private Residences at the $2,099,000 price point. This is right in line with a sale that occurred last year for an identical suite in the building. For anyone who's not familiar, The Four Seasons Private Residences is a Phase 1 unrestricted annex of the Four Seasons in Whistler. It features huge, hyper-luxury suites right at the base of Blackcomb. They're really very special and have to been seen to be believed.
Notable Solds in the Past 7 Days:
- I mentioned last week that a 2 bedroom townhome at #56 Glacier's Reach had just come on the market at $439,000. Well, one of my attentive buyers picked up on this great property and now has an accepted offer on this exceptional 2 level townhome with new hot tub in Village North. Great job snagging that one Kevin!
- I just sold a great 2 bedroom unit at #226 Lost Lake Lodge to some very nice clients from Vancouver last week. Karen and Mark scooped up a great deal on this forest-facing two bedroom suite for only $467,000. Their young family is going to have some great times at their new Whistler condo over the coming years!
The current listing inventory in Whistler
and Pemberton now sits at 1,000 active listings which is up by 39 from
last week. It's important to note that many of these "new" listings were
re-lists which had expired two weeks ago.
