Good Morning!
Well, spring is definitely arriving in
Whistler and in Pemberton it's really here now. The blossoms on the
cherry tree in my front yard are almost all out and yesterday was even
warm enough that
one of my sons decided to jump in the kiddie pool we pulled out of the crawlspace!
In addition to my very busy real estate career, I'm also one of the three organizers of the
Nimby Fifty
mountain bike marathon race in Pemberton so I've been working over the
past few months to get all of the details pulled together for this
year's race which is coming up on May 28th.

May is typically the slowest month of the
year for sales as ski season is wrapping up and golf hasn't quite
started in full swing yet. So I decided to skip last week's update and
give you a blockbuster this week instead. So, grab your coffee and dig

Whistler and Pemberton!
Notable New Listings in the Past 14 Days
- I just brought #403 Holiday Inn on the market at the incredible price of $73,000. This Phase 2 deluxe studio is a corner unit with it's own deck and an incredible view of the Village below as well as perfect views of the slopes of Whistler & Blackcomb. This is the best suite in the building folks!
- #112 Lake Placid Lodge is a one bedroom suite right at the base of Whistler Creekside that just came on the market at the incredible price of $259,000. This building had an complete exterior renovation done just two years ago so it's basically brand new. Check it out.
- #47 Four Seasons Private Residences just came on the market at $2,950,000. This 3 bedroom/4 bath, 2,400 sq. ft. suite is located in the premier luxury condo complex in Whistler. Great value for a 3 bedroom suite of this size and amenities. It's the Four Seasons - that says it all!
Notable Solds in the Past 14 Days
- After quite a few months on the market we were finally able to get #321 Coast Hotel on Blackcomb sold. This forest-facing Phase 2 restricted, 2 bedroom suite was listed at $279,000 and sold at $245,000 to a client from Australia.
- Wow - another Blackcomb Lodge suite sold! #215 Blackcomb Lodge which is a studio with loft sold at $130,000. These were going for $379,000 6 years ago folks. Yikes!
Notable Price Adjustments in the Past 14 Days
- #50 Sunpath just reduced big time from $714,000 down to $639,000. Great 3 bedroom/2 bath townhome with pool & hot tub right in Village North. Extremely good value at the moment.
- #201 G2 & G4 Horstman House both at $65,000. These two quarters of this one bedroom suite are practically being given away at this price. If you're in the market for a quartershare you must check these out.
- #14 Twin Lakes is a 4 bedroom, 1,700 sq. ft. townhome just reduced from $749,000 to $709,000. If you could pick this up for in the $690,000 range I would say you'd have stolen it.
