1.  Low Housing Supply

There is incredibly low inventory in the Whistler and Pemberton market right now. New properties coming to market have been attracting immediate attention with most properties receiving multiple offers and quite a few selling over the asking price. Tight inventory always spikes home prices and can result in multiple offers and spur bidding wars.

2.  Ski Season is Coming!

Without fail, during the period from August through to November and December the market is always the best of the year as buyers ramp up to get a property wrapped up and under contract for the coming year as the ski season closes in.

3.  Less Competition

When there's very low inventory there's less competition. For example, if you have the only one bedroom suite for sale in The Aspens on Blackcomb then you're going to attract lots of attention. If anyone is looking for a ski-in/ski-out one bedroom condo then you'll be the only game in town potentially generating multiple offers and definitely getting top dollar.
