Description: The fourth annual GO Fest, Whistler’s Great Outdoors Festival, returns on the Victoria Day Long Weekend. The event is four days set with many different outdoor activities in a beautiful Whistler setting, the challenge stars with deciding what to do first.
GO Fest takes it to another level this year with the Outdoor Concert Series featuring acts from 54∙40, The Zolas, Dear Rouge and more. Full lineup and info can be accessed here.
If you need your fix of adventure then the Whistler Film Festivals: Adventure Series will keep you busy. Featuring 30 films from 4 different countries you will not be bored. The GoPro GoShow will also return this year, this film competition will see six athletes compete for one grand prize of $2,000, and the title of becoming Whistler’s GoPro GoShow Champion. Each athlete has just 72 hours to create a three to five minute film that captures the essence of May in Whistler using the world’s most versatile camera to showcase experiences on snow, dirt and water.
GO Fest truly captures the essence of Whistler and it is a definite must to experience in May. Get outside and celebrate the convergence of summer and winter at GO Fest!

Description: The NIMBY Fifty is approximately 37 km in length, boasting a lung busting 101 switchback long pristine single-track climb. This technical marathon XC mountain bike race is absolutely loaded with incredible single track and breathtaking views. Get ready to get dirty and exhausted as this race runs in rain or shine!

Description: The only way to end a winter season in Whistler is to close it out with the biggest going away party you can think of. GAPER DAY is a living, breathing box of craziness. Grab your retro outfit, your wooden skis and your closest pals and get to Wizard Chair at 10am Monday morning.
Make sure to not burn out all of your energy because the après ski scene on gaper day is one to remember.. or forget. Merlins Bar & Grill will be packed full of chicken suits, goggle tans and definitely a good time.
