Here are some thing you might want to consider before November 23, 2016.

1. Pick Up Your Pass.

Haven’t ordered your ski pass yet? Do it now to avoid the endless line ups at the start of the season – order it online today & pick which pass suits you!

2. Get Your Gear Ready.

It’s time to unpack your gear, dust it off and get it ready for the upcoming season! Tune your gear & replace anything that's worn down– don’t wait until it breaks on the mountain, which is not only disruptive to your day, but also dangerous.

3. Start Training Now.

Having to head in early because your body can’t take even one more run is probably one of the worst early season situations. Starting a training program now to build up your strength and endurance will ensure you are ready for Opening Day.

Check out Meadow Park Sport's Centre who can help you in dry land fitness training or the SKIRAD app – a design by Whistler physiotherapists who are helping to reduce skiers and boarders injuries.

4. Book a Lesson.

Book a lesson to brush up on your skills from last season. Admit it – you're a bit rusty & could use some help getting back on the mountain! Book by November 15 for the best available rates!

5. Attend the Return of Winter by The North Face.

Experience, celebrate and share the return of winter with The North Face! They have put together a free event that will set the tone to celebrate winter's arrival on the night before opening day (November 22, 2016)! Go to Skier’s Plaza near the Blackcomb Excalibur gondola & celebrate the first turns of the season around a bonfire with friends. Enjoy live music, marshmallows, s'mores & free prize giveaways!

6. Arrive Early on November 23, 2016.

And last but not least, arrive EARLY on Opening Day! Arriving early with guarantee you're not at the end of the line & gives you the chance to have the best fresh tracks of the season!
