Don Nishio B.Comm., C.A.

Don was born in 1954 in the Yukon Territories in northern Canada and grew up on Vancouver Island. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia in 1978. He obtained his CA in 1980 and moved to Tokyo in 1981. While in Japan, he studied Japanese and gained valuable experience working for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu until 1985 when he transferred back to Deloitte Touche in Vancouver. In 1987, he completed the 2-year tax specialist program of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. In 1988, he moved to PriceWaterhouseCoopers managing the tax responsibilities for the Japanese practice group until 1992.

In 1992, Don joined fellow co-workers Mike Lam and Bernard Lo from PWC to form Lam Lo Nishio, Chartered Accountants. Since that time he has advised small and medium-sized companies, individual entrepreneurs, Canadian subsidiaries of foreign corporations, new immigrants and non-residents; particularly in the area of income tax.

Tomas Darmopil, Building Inspector

Tomas R. Darmopil possesses a Masters degree in Civil Engineering combined with 35 years of experience in the residential and commercial construction industry. He has been a member of the Western Association of Property Inspectors since 1996. A large part of Tomas' inspection process involves checking the condition of major parts of the house structure, e.g. foundations, framing, heating, drainage, etc. A comprehensive report with maintenance suggestions will be provided to you within 24 hours.
