Placed halfway between Whistler Village and Creekside, Alta Vista offers prime real-estate with an assortment of lakefront properties. In truth, Alta Vista is one of the few neighbourhoods in Whistler to offer lakefront real estate! These homes are highly desirable because they face west and get afternoon and end of day sun.
Through the years, Alta Vista has done a number of upgrades—renovating or replacing the older chalets. The new "Lakecrest" area is located in Alta Vista which features newly built luxury homes which are located lakefront or hilltop, along with a new townhome development. Older homes are located here as well with some quintessentially Whistler “gothic arches” and A-frames.
With close proximity to the Lakeside Park, your summer months will thrive with the abundance of summer sports. Lakeside park has everything you need to make your summer prosper, offering rentals in boats, paddle boards & canoe/sailboats. Needless to say, a boat ramp is placed here for launching small boats onto Alta Lake!
Access to Alta Vista is off of the Blueberry Hill intersection, or at the Alta Vista entrance just a bit further south. Looking for a place to eat? Alta Bistro, famous for their French inspired cuisine, is a locals favourite and is a prime destination for fine dining. It is without doubt, Alta Vista brings luxury living to Whistler!
Christine Jervis bought a home on Tyrol Crescent 23 years ago and loves Alta Vista:
What a place to be! Close to the water with Lakeside Park just down the street and then we've got the Valley Trail taking us right into the Village in under 10 minutes walking time. For us it's a great mix of distance to the Village and access to Alta Lake. Perfect.
