The neighbourhood of Whistler Cay Estates is located just down Lorimer Road at the bottom of the hill below Whistler Cay Heights. Positioned adjacent to the Nicklaus North Golf Course, Whistler Cay Estates is the perfect community for residents who want more of a private & peaceful setting. Longtime local Whistler families live in this area due to Alta Lake access and the Myrtle Phillip Elementary School nearby.
Summer days can be spent at Lakeside Park on Alta Lake, giving you access to paddle boards, kayaks, and of course the famous River of Golden Dreams canoe paddling! The Valley Trail can be entered off Balsam Way, which dead-ends at the Whistler Golf Club. And during Halloween, hundreds of local kids descend upon the Easy Street section of Whistler Cay Estates for massive trick-or-treating!
Townhome Complexes include:
- Adventures West is an older complex on the water at Alta Lake, with a beach and dock for water access
Davis Lappert has owned a home on Beaver Lane in the Whistler Cay Estates neighbourhood for over 30 years and shares how he feels about the time he's spent there:
Whistler Cay Estates is one of the areas of Whistler that I feel gives you that true old sense of this storied ski town. You can feel the old history of the families that have raised kids and grandkids here and spent untold weekends at the ski chalet. The location for us has been really great. It's like the hub of the Valley Trail system so we can get on bikes and make it easily to Rainbow Park or up the hill to Whistler Village. We usually just cruise along the section alongside the Whistler Golf Club's 3rd & 4th holes which is a bit less of a climb and then you just duck under the highway and you're at the Village.
