Good Morning!

The weather has finally perked up here and we are now enjoying one of our first cloudless days in weeks. The Pemberton Music Festival also went off as a huge success with Pearl Jam headlining and a crowd of 45,000 over last weekend. We ended up taking the opportunity to test out our new travel trailer and headed to Hornby Island camping with the kids for 5 nights just off Vancouver Island. The beaches there are amazing - just like Maui!

Here's an advanced "heads-up" about a new 2 bedroom Town Plaza listing (click link for photos) we have coming to market next couple of days in Eagle Lodge overlooking the Brew Pub. The 1 bedroom Marquise we listed last week at $409,000 now has an accepted offer on it and the Gondola Village condo we listed last weekend sold in 1 day with multiple offers. It went at $7,000 over the asking price at $386,000. 

Next week we will have the end of June 2016 six month market report put together and will give you all the latest Whistler real estate market statistics.

Here are the latest listings, price reductions and solds in the Whistler & Pemberton markets over the past week:

The active listing inventory in Whistler is only 263 properties on the market (up by 11 from 2 weeks ago) & Pemberton is sitting at 62 active listings (down by 3 from 2 weeks ago). This continues to be the lowest listing inventory in Whistler since we started recording market statistics in 1998.

Our listing inventory is now at it's lowest point ever, the U.S. dollar versus the Canadian is at it's strongest point in over 10 years AND the resort has been absolutely crushing it with visits summer and winter. If you own a home or condo in Whistler and you're considering selling, CALL ME. This is your best timing in over a decade to get top dollar.

If you're coming up over the next couple of months, keep in mind that many of the properties in Whistler continue to be heavily booked with high levels of occupancy even though it's currently shoulder season. Just give me plenty of notice and Jennifer and I can check property availability for showings.
