Good Afternoon!

Sorry for the delayed Friday Morning Coffee today. It's my son's 10th birthday so we were having some birthday fun with his new BMX this morning. Boy has it been hot this week as summer finally arrived here in Whistler. 31 degrees most of this week here in Whistler and 36 degrees at my house in Pemberton. Whew!!

FYI - the 2 bedroom Town Plaza listing we brought to market last week received a full price, subject-free offer on it in only 18 hours. We do however have a 1 bedroom at Lost Lake Lodge coming to market this coming weekend at $455,000 and a potential one bedroom at Marketplace Lodge coming to market next week. Sorry - no interior photos of either one yet. If you're interested in them let me know ASAP.

We're just working on the final draft of our end of June 2016, six month market report and will get that out to you as soon as it's done.

Here are the latest listings, price reductions and solds in the Whistler & Pemberton markets over the past week:

The active listing inventory in Whistler is only 261 properties on the market (down by 5 from last week) & Pemberton is sitting at 53 active listings (down by another 9 from last week). This continues to be the lowest listing inventory in Whistler since we started recording market statistics in 1998.

Our listing inventory is now at it's lowest point ever, the U.S. dollar versus the Canadian is at it's strongest point in over 10 years AND the resort has been absolutely crushing it with visits summer and winter. If you own a home or condo in Whistler and you're considering selling, CALL ME. This is your best timing in over a decade to get top dollar.

If you're coming up over the next couple of months, keep in mind that many of the properties in Whistler continue to be heavily booked with high levels of occupancy even though it's currently shoulder season. Just give me plenty of notice and Jennifer and I can check property availability for showings.
