Whistler Friday Morning Coffee - June 17, 2016
It's been a hectic week for us here as I get back into the swing of things after being away in Manitoba and Ontario last week. It's a good thing I've got such a capable team behind me here at The Linnell Group while I'm away.
Just a quick heads-up to everyone that we've got a "sleeve listing" of a 2 bedroom Aspens ski-in/ski-out Phase 1 unrestricted condo at Blackcomb if you're in the market for one. The seller's would like to see this one move soon but don't want to officially put it on the market. They tell me they'll consider as low as $710,000 for it. Pretty good pricing given that 2 bedroom Aspens suites have recently been selling in the $720,000 to $770,000 range.

The active listing inventory in Whistler is only 250 properties on the market (down by 7 from last week) & Pemberton is sitting at 69 active listings (up by just 2 from last week). Officially the lowest inventory in Whistler since we started recording market statistics in 1998.
Our listing inventory is now at it's lowest point ever, the U.S. dollar versus the Canadian is at it's strongest point in over 10 years AND the resort has been absolutely crushing it with visits summer and winter. If you own a home or condo in Whistler and you're considering selling, CALL ME. This is your best timing in over a decade to get top dollar.
If you're coming up over the next couple of months, keep in mind that many of the properties in Whistler continue to be heavily booked with high levels of occupancy even though it's currently shoulder season. Just give me plenty of notice and Jennifer and I can check property availability for showings.
