Your ULTIMATE Guide to Thanksgiving Weekend in Whistler
Thinking of coming to Whistler for Thanksgiving weekend? Here's what's happening around town.
1. Shop the Turkey Sale
The Turkey Sale is where you can buy all your ski, snowboard, gear and winter clothing at greatly discounted prices. The Turkey Sale is on all weekend from October 7th to the 10th. The sale takes place at the Blackcomb Day Lodge, just at the base of Blackcomb Mountain in the Upper Village.
2. Visit the Whistler Farmers Market
Thanksgiving weekend is the last Whistler Farmers Market of the season. Visit the market on Sunday October 9th from 11am to 4pm in the Upper Village outside the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. The market features local produce, fresh baked goods including delicious pumpkin pies, crafts, honey, pottery, jewellery and more!
3. Explore Whistler via the Valley Trail.
The Valley Trail is a network of over 40kms of paved trail. The trails connect Whistler neighbourhood, lakes and parks. You can bike, rollerblade, jog or just walk the trails. A perfect way to spend time with the family over Thanksgiving weekend.
4. Enjoy dinner at one of Whistler’s many restaurants.

5. Ride the Whistler Mountain Bike Park
Monday October 10th is the last day for the Whistler Mountain Bike Park to be open for the season. Experience one of the best mountain bike parks in the World! There are trails to suit or ability levels. Bike rentals and gear are available at a number of stores throughout the Village.
