Welcome to Friday Morning Coffee for February 1st!
Well as much fun as it's been to shred the groomers the past 10 days, the snow came back last night with a 30 cm overnight dump just in time for the weekend and it's continuing today with another 20 cms this afternoon. Should be fun up on the mountains this weekend! I can only ski tomorrow morning for a few runs though as I'm attending our "The View From Here" event in the afternoon. - I've recently started two new weekly Facebook Live video shows which have become a big hit! I answer a couple of real client questions about real estate in Whistler each week live on Facebook and also give you my thoughts on 3 new listings that have come on the market (any listing - not just our own). - Our yearly "The View From Here" invitation only client event is happening tomorrow, February 2nd at Maury Young Millenium Place at 1 pm to 6 pm with appies and drinks served. We'll be bringing together idea-focused minds and local policy makers to provide insight into the factors that impact Whistler’s business and investment environment. This year’s theme is "Charting the Course". The afternoon will begin with our headline speakers who will present the macro framework including market trends, government policy, and real estate markets which decision making in Whistler works within.
