Welcome to Friday Morning Coffee for January 18th!

We've had a bit of a reprieve from snowmageddon this week with not much new snow but there is some on the way today. Just 10-20 cms. It's been a good chance for me to get out on my carving skis a bit more. It's always fun railing corduroy laps on my Head Rallys. Ok - on to business!

Here's what you need to know about this week:

  • I've started a two new weekly Facebook Live video shows!  Take a look below for the most recent episodes of The Whistler Real Estate "Ask Me Anything" Show and The Whistler Real Estate Weekly Tour Show. I answer a couple of real client questions about real estate in Whistler each week live on Facebook and also give you my thoughts on 3 new listings that have come on the market (any listing - not just our own).   • Our yearly "The View From Here" invitation only client event is happening on February 2nd at Maury Young Millenium Place. We'll be bringing together idea-focused minds and local policy makers to provide insight into the factors that impact Whistler’s business and investment environment. This year’s theme is "Charting the Course". The afternoon will begin with our headline speakers who will present the macro framework including market trends, government policy, and real estate markets which decision making in Whistler works within.  To learn more about the speakers we're hosting you can click here for The View From Here web page.
