Good Morning, Whistler!
Well it looks like we've finally got some decent weather happening so we're heading out as a family to our place by Green Lake up at 70 Mile House in the Cariboo this weekend for some gravel bike rides and relaxing by the campfire. I might even go swimming - what a concept!
The Whistler real estate market seems to be in a bit of flux at the moment as we're definitely NOT seeing multiple offers anymore. If you're a seller right now you need to be aware that the pricing that your neighbour got for an identical Whistler home or condo just a few months ago will likely be more than what is achievable to you today. Sharp pricing is key at the moment if you're a seller and if you're a buyer there are some great deals to be had if you look around. Plus, there's a lot more to choose from if you were grumbling about a lack of options over this past fall and winter.
The other point to note is that we've nearly doubled our listing inventory now compared to about 4-5 months ago. This sounds like a lot but keep in mind that 200 listings is still a far cry from our last market bottom in 2010 when we had over 800 listings for sale. 🤔
