    What's the best season to sell?

    The best time to sell your Whistler property is when it's the right time for you. There's a lot you have to do to sell your home or condo, and the best time to go through all that is when you're really motivated and actually need to sell your property. A lot of agents will make the argument that now is always the right time to sell (no matter the season) but really - the best time is whenever it's right for you. Go here to learn more.

    What are my negotiation options?

    If you're selling your Whistler property and you get an offer on it, you have three options as to how you can respond to that offer:

    1. You can accept the offer, as is, and you're under contract.

    2. You can counter the offer. So say the price is too low or there are terms, or things about the offer that you want to counter and negotiate in some way.

    3. You can reject the offer. That basically tells the buyer that you have no interest in accepting their offer and you can reject it outright.

    I always recommend to my sellers to always at least counter an offer, even if it's at your lowest acceptable price or very close to your lowest price. But I always recommend even if the buyer has sent you a lowball offer, or an offer you think you'd never accept, at least counter it to open up the conversation and negotiations. You never know, they might come up to a price zone you're happy with.

    What do I need to do to get my property ready to sell?

    Clean, declutter, and neutralize. You only get one opportunity to make a positive first impression with potential buyers. Well-staged properties look better, photograph better, show better, and sell faster! Pack up all your personal belongings and get them ready for your next place. This helps buyers focus on the house, and not on your things.
